EKG-5A
EKG-5A crawler shovel is used for excavation and loading of rock mass to transport facilities at open mine workings and also in construction of hydroengineering, industrial and other objects. The buyer obtains a tool kit for maintenance, spare parts kit and technical documents with each machine. The machine showed good performance both in conditions of temperate climate, tropics and far north.
The main bearing structures: boom, stick, revolving frame and base frame are made of alloyed rolled stock providing high operational reliability in heavy climatic and mining-geological conditions. The dipper and gears are made of high durable alloys providing reliable operation at large dynamic loads. The excavator drive is of "generator-motor" type, or controlled by magnetic amplifiers, or with electrical machine excitation from thyristor converters with digital control. The control system provides the necessary blockings for safety operation. The operator's cab meets the requirements of ergonomics. Its walls are heat and sound proof, finished with decorative plastic. Vibroinsulated seat may be arranged in any position suitable for operator. Safety cabin glass with anti-sun filter provides good lookout during operation. Fan and electrical heaters also provide more comfortable operation.
