ESH 40.100 and its modifications
The dragline ESH 40.100 is designed for stripping overburden in strip mining (coal, shale, ferrous and nonferrous metal ores, gold, raw materials for chemical industry and refractories, etc.) at the ambient temperature from minus 50°C to plus 40°C. ESH 40.100 dragline is a full-revolving machine with hydraulic walking mechanism and working dragline facilities with 40 m³ bucket and boom length 100 m. Modifications of base model ESH 30.110, ESH 25.120 are draglines with elongated booms at some smaller bucket capacity.

These models of draglines have three-edged tubular structure boom of high-strength steel with upper preliminary cable-braced chord. The support frame and the revolving frame have sections joint with high-strength bolts, machined in assembly for installation of ring gear and roller disk rails. Hydraulic three-support walking mechanism with two lifting and two traction cylinders. Lifting and crowd winches with changeable ring gears of reel block. Gearless drive of swing mechanism with four low-speed motors. Swing gear and bearing assembly with conical rollers and forged rails. Semi-automatic lubrication of mechanisms. Microprocessor-based information and analyzing system allows to check the dragline productivity, energy consumption, setting parameters, charge, availability of ventilation flow in electrical machines, temperature of the bearings and excitation windings. D.c. motor drive of "generator-motor" type with thyristor excitation of electrical machines.
